Meeting Facilitation
Let me lead the conversation so that EVERYONE can participateBad meetings happen.
“I think we’ve gotten off track.”
“So…who’s in charge of the agenda for this meeting?”
“Didn’t we all agree that we’d do [great idea], last week?”
Sound familiar?
Good meetings happen, too.
And I’m not just talking about “efficient” or “productive” meetings. I mean good meetings—gatherings that foster genuine human connection, spark creativity, and build momentum through meaningful collaboration.
It took years of practice (and plenty of mistakes) to hone my craft as a facilitator, and I’m still learning new techniques every day. What I’ve found is that when a team has the right structure and support in place, meetings stop being a dreaded obligation and start being a powerful tool for progress.
How do we find your good meetings?
Together, we will build a facilitation package that’s tailored to your needs. This includes designing the facilitation framework and on-going facilitation of your meetings to support better collaboration and teamwork.
Here’s how it works:
1 - Identify your needs
We’ll start by talking about your team’s goals and challenges. Then, I’ll observe one of your existing meetings to get a sense of your group’s dynamics and rhythms.
2 - Design your framework
Based on what I learn from you and your team, I will propose an agenda structure and facilitate your next meeting to demonstrate the approach in action.
3 - your team decides
After the session, you’ll get time to debrief and decide if my methods align with your team’s style. If we’re a fit, we’ll collaborate on a plan to meet your ongoing needs.
4 - On-going Facilitation
There is no long-term commitment to anything until we finish step 3 and you’re confident this is the right fit for your team.
Sound like something you and your team could use?
What is it?
A carefully-structured and thoughtfully-facilitated meeting framework and exercises designed for your team to help them stay on the same page throughout their work and collaboration.
Who is it for?
Any values-driven team or organization comprised of 1 or more humans. This works best for teams who are motivated to discuss and manage a big change they are facing.
How much does it cost?
There is no cost to you for steps 1, 2, or 3 (See above). Finding what’s right for your team (from the framework to seeing if your team meshes well with my facilitation style) is just part of the process! Once we’ve determined that we’re a good fit, the cost for facilitation is determined by meeting frequency and length. See examples below:
Weekly 1-hour virtual meetings – ~$1200/month
Monthly 2-hour virtual meetings – ~$400/month
Quarterly 3-hour virtual meetings – ~$500/each

How is it structured?
The short answer: it’s designed to suit your team. Together, we’ll determine where you are today and what support is needed to move into the changing future.
Why Facilitation Matters
Let me tell you about an organization that’s benefited from this work:
I began partnering with a local LGBTQ+ business organization made up of a working board and several volunteer committees. While every committee was composed of passionate, talented professionals, they came to be because they struggled to run efficient meetings and move initiatives forward.
Over several months, I facilitated meetings for three key committees:
- Finance Committee: They needed help staying focused and preparing clear agendas.
- Events Committee: They benefited from timeboxing brainstorming sessions to ensure decisions were made.
- Mentorship Committee: We worked on balancing open discussion with decision-making to develop a clear charter.
Each committee’s needs were different, and so were the solutions. By introducing customized routines and rituals, I helped these teams build collaboration habits that stuck. The committees that embraced these frameworks are now thriving, with full rosters and productive, engaging meetings.
But facilitation doesn’t stop at the meeting table. Since working with this organization, I’ve gone on to moderate quarterly panel discussions, guide strategic planning for their board of directors, and even advise on event structure for community-building programs.
What’s the result?
More connected teams, better collaboration, and meetings that actually get things done. So much so that the committee structure is growing to support the organization as it seeks to more intentionally serve it’s present members and to expand it’s services across the state.
Good facilitation isn’t magic—it’s a skill, and it’s one I’d love to share with you and your team. Let’s work together to make your meetings matter.
